Ahoy, buoys – splashy experiences

Since 2004, GTA games (with some exceptions) allow players to swim. Which created plenty of new possibilities. To the point now. We had another great event, in which we zoomed past floating buoys in many different vessels, shot many bullets and swam for our lives.

Our assembly points were picturesque Vespucci Canals. I was joined by Pete, Dan, Matte, Sarah, Villem and Kuro. After a group picture and a soothing cruise around canals, we sailed out to the open sea towards the sunset. Pete even borrowed an elegant Marquis from marina. That was a very relaxing trip… until we boarded a tugboat in Merryweather base. Cops took that personally and 5-stars wanted level survival began. Unfortunately, our brave vessel was too slow and it sank shortly afterwards. We swam for our lives towards docks, but there was no rescue team waiting for us. Instead, more angry police officers tried to bring us down. These were tense 10 minutes but in the end, we reached the mainland, more or less dead or alive.

We concluded our event with themed playlist:

  • my transform race around Catfish archipelago,
  • Witt’s bridge building with boats,
  • swimming pool jetski parkour,
  • KotH with Zhabas,
  • pirate treasure capture,
  • not-so-balanced musket LTS,
  • Witt’s ultra-quick jetski capture,
  • and finally, my random boats race with many buoys.

Thank you all for joining! Snaps were provided by Mattie and party host. See you again soon!
