forum menu update

I’ve created a separate page for the forums listing all recent topics (in a bit more detail than in the sidebar), and also a separate page for creating new topics. The list of recent blog posts has been removed from the sidebar (it had little purpose since they are all visible on the landing page anyway). Instead I’ve added an index of all forums there (instead of having it in the menu).

Any thoughts on these changes? My inspiration has been the bbpress forums themselves, which I find quite neat:

Looking at those pages, we might consider getting rid of the “recent forum topics” widget in the sidebar (since the recent topics page is much clearer anyway), but I’m a bit undecided about it…
