This post in the forum:
made me realize that we don’t have a clear policy of what should go in the forum and what should go on the blog. Our blog is our public face, so it should be for important news and/or cool showcases, our best stories, etc. and anything that goes there should be of best quality.
Open question: should we ever duplicate anything from the blog to the forums? It seems confusing to me so I’d say no, but maybe I’m missing something important. If there’s something that fits both in the forum and in the blog – like some big scheduled event – we could post a link to the blog from the forum just in case anyone is looking at the forum but not at the blog (I guess that can happen).
If you are posting something in the forum but you think it would also be good for the blog then you can let me know and I will make it happen.
Anyway, I’m just brainstorming here. Further ideas on this?
