Rockstar Destroyed My Race

I don’t know if you played it already, but some time ago I created a race, here is a link:

The main idea of this race was, the pursuit. I intentionally placed the starting line inside restricted area (Fort Zancudo), to make all racers get 4 stars wanted level. Cops were chasing each player through all the circuit (unless player was shot by police). I admit, this race was a madness, but it was meant to be like that.

How did Rockstar destroy my race? The thing is, after recent update, the restriction over Fort Zancudo has been dropped for hangar owners inside it (like me). Now, there is no way to obtain wanted level and trust me, it was enabled in race settings. I tried everything, searched all creator settings and still nothing.

So, if you wish to make a police chase race, consider something around Bolingbroke – last place in GTAO that is implicitly restricted.

I have no idea how the creator works but here’s a quick thought: Is it possible to place (many) NPC on the track near the start, so you practically have to run some over and obtain a wanted level? There might even be some (GTA-)fun in that 🙂

Thanks for your response man. I know it’s possible to place NPCs in captures. The problem is, it doesn’t apply to any kind of race – all you can do is enable pedestrians. And I still want to make this game look like race – players are mostly interested in racing, not running over peds 😛

Hmm it really sounds like they broke your race then 🙁 That’s a shame, I liked it!

Same for me, the Ruiner2000 race i created now automatically switches to Blazer Aqua after publishing… This must be some bug with the upcoming transform races update which is already in the game.

Sorry to hear R* killed your creative work. Well, yet another dent in whatever’s left of R* reputation. 🙁 At least your races didn’t get deleted, this has been going on as well:
