Airlympics: celebrating the miracle of flight

We gathered a few weeks ago, with Cookie, for the long-awaited sequel to Airlympics! After Cookie picked up everyone skillfully with his civilian jet across the map, he impressed us all with his Maze Bank landing skills. Following a group photo, we started the playlist, consisting of four different challenges.

First, we trained our vertical take-off in the Alkonost, which proved a good warm-up. We then moved to trying to land on Maze Bank. Many accidents happened, but eventually most of us managed! We then tried to skydive and land into Franklin’s pool and jacuzzi, without opening the parachute. We apologize to Franklin for the many bloodstains in his backyard. Finally, we attempted one-winged flight in Lazers. Eventually all managed, and some of us even succeeded one-winged landing at Sandy Shores!

Many thanks to Cookie for hosting, and to Attila, Jay, Pete, PsychicWarlock, Sarah, and Tim, for joining on the occasion. You’re officially graduated and we are happy to award you your pilot licenses. Congratulations! I already look forward to our next Airlympics.
